Connecting with Key to Iceland through Travia is done in the same way as with other travel agencies.
Key to Iceland can either send you a cooperation request, or you can request to partner with Key to Iceland.
After that, you can set your cancellation policies and rate lists just like you would with other users of Travia.
Prices and Rate Lists
The prices displayed to KeytoIceland.com customers for your accommodation are based on the following:
- Prices you include through Travia
- A 12% commission added on top of that amount
You can choose to enter either NET or GROSS prices
Note: If you choose to enter GROSS prices, it is important to provide at least a 12% discount in the Travia system to ensure that the correct price is shown on our site.
Lodging Tax (Gistináttaskattur)
Accommodation providers have the option to specify whether the lodging tax is included or excluded in their pricing.
- If “excluded” – Travia will add ISK 800 on top of the price listed in or retrieved by Travia.
- If “included” – No additional amount will be added to the price.
Payments
Key to Iceland collects card information and payment from customers on your behalf.
The accommodation provider will then receive the payment on the first working day after check-out, provided that an invoice has been submitted to Key to Iceland.
If your accommodation prefers to issue invoices less frequently (e.g. monthly billing), we fully understand and are happy to accommodate that.
