Now you can choose if your prices in Travia include or exclude the lodging tax.
1. In your profile in Travia, click on My Properties and click on Detailed Information.
2. In Tax Settings, you can enable this feature. Click on the Lodging Tax Feature Enabled
- If the lodging tax is included in your prices, click on Included and click on Save. If you choose this option, a message in the booking process states that the lodging tax is included in the room price.
- If the lodging tax is excluded from your prices, click on Excluded and click on Save. If you choose this option, the lodging tax pricing will be displayed separately from the room price showing the added lodging tax price, which will be added to the total booking price.
3. If the lodging tax is excluded, you can choose how it's processed in your hotel system, included in the room price, or as a separate line.
NOTE: If you choose to exclude the lodging tax from the prices and if there is a setting in our PMS that automatically adds the lodging tax afterward to all Travia bookings, you will need to disable that so the lodging tax will not be displayed twice.
For GODO users: This is how it will be displayed.
- If the tax is excluded and sent as a separate line:
- If the tax is excluded but not sent as a separate line, then the lodging tax will be added to the room price (not as a separate line)
