Nightsbridge

After creating your property in Travia and filling out the required information, the next step is to connect it with Channel Manager.


In the Connect with your Channel Manager, select Nightsbridge (Travia), and insert your property key.  


In order to connect with Travia, in the next step you will need to contact rowland@nightsbridge.com at Nightsbridge and request access to Travia.   


When the Nightsbrige connection is active, you will be able to continue to connect your room types in Rooms



Click on Create Property


In the first step, you will be asked to fill out the basic information about your property.


Please fill in the fields that are required - Here are a few fields that will need your attention:


E-mail: This is the email to which all notifications go from Travia. Booking notifications, cooperation notifications, updates from Travia, etc.


Currency: Please select the currency in which your PMS (hotel system) is working. E.g. if I have my hotel set up in EUR, I will choose EUR in this setting.


Map: Sometimes, the map does not find all addresses in Iceland (especially in the countryside) so you can move the marker to the correct location.


Property Group: This is only intended if you have multiple properties that are branded under a name. E.g. Iceland Hotel Reykjanes and Iceland Hotel Reykjavík, then your property group would be "Iceland Hotel".


Visible to other travel agents: This is set on by default, so if you do not finish the setup in one go, travel agencies will be able to request cooperation with you. You can turn off your visibility by clicking this button.


Connect with your channel manager: Select Nighstbride (Travia) and insert your property key.



Room setup


Click on Add room


 In Basic Settings, you will need to fill out which category, type, name, quantity, maximum guests, and bedding option of this room type.


In Additional settings, you can add a short description of your room type and room size in square meters.


Connect the room types:

The Travia room setup needs to match the room set up in Nightsbridge.   When the property has been connected with Nightsbride, you can start connecting the room types.


When you are creating the room type in Travia,  you can see how many room types are listed in Nightsbridge.


Click on the Room ID.  Then a dropdown list will appear with all the room types listed in Nightsbridge. In order to connect the room type, select the room type in the list.





In Room Add-ons, you can choose the possibility to add breakfast and/or an extra bed.

  • If you did put in a new Add-on in the previous step (Detailed Information) it will appear here. If this Add-on is available in this room type, you select that here. 
  • This Add-on will then appear in your pricelist, where you select if the Add-on is included or costs extra.


Room Amenities Here you can add things that are included in your room.


6. In Room Photos you can upload photos of the room


7. When your room is ready, click on Save Room
