Multiple price agreements option on an upgraded contract

Modified on Tue, 25 Mar at 4:10 PM

With this new version of Travia Price Agreement, you can assign multiple price agreement and cancellation policy combination at the contract level. Each combination is called a contract condition.

- Conditions can have optional start and end dates.

- Conditions can have optional Cancellation Policy if a default one is not chosen.

- One or multiple conditions can be active at any time.

In the property contract settings there is an option to upgrade the contract and use this new feature.

When upgraded the contract look will update to this:

The settings are still the same, just in new places. To view the Activity Panel or change the contract back (downgrade), click on the three dots in the Details box.

To update or change the settings on the contract, click on the three dots in the Settings box. There you can update the contract details.

A new wing opens up on the right side of your screen and you can fill out the necessary information.

Multiple price agreements or cancellation policies on the contract

You can define one or multiple price agreements and cancellation policies for a contract.

Each of the conditions can be limited for use on a specific date period, with the booking check-in date leading the way.

If multiple combinations or price agreement or cancellation policies are active, the travel agent can choose with one applies to the booking they are creating. If there is just one cancellation policy but multiple price agreements, we will offer only the lower price.

When adding another price agreement to the contract, click on Add in the Contract conditions and a wing will appear on the right side of your screen.

Choose a price agreement and a cancellation policy to apply (if no cancellation policy is chosen, the default policy will apply).

Choose the date period, start date and end date, that this price agreement is suppose to be valid. Click Add to set it on the contract.

You can define rate codes that can be used specific for this contract. You can add a rate code per room or add one for several rooms at once. These rate codes will be merged with any rate codes defined on room level, and the lowest price of these will be used when booking.

If all of the rate codes are defined closed, the contract will also be closed, and only BAR rates will be used if applicable.

Make sure that the rate codes are the same as defined in the channel manager and that the prices and restrictions are correctly set up and synchronized. Please note for new codes it might take some time to fully sync the data from the channel manager.

If the property chooses to upgrade the contract, the contract on the travel agency side will be upgraded as well.

When the travel agency is creating a booking and multiple price agreements and cancellation policy is applicable they can choose which one is suited best for their booking and conditions.
