By setting up auto release in allotment contract, you can set a deadline for the travel agency to use these blocked rooms. You can decide how many days before check-in date, unused allotment rooms will be released and open for others to book.
By setting an auto-release feature in the allotment contract where the period is already started,
1. Under Room mappings, click on Auto Release toggle.
2. Select Day by Day in the Auto Release Type. Then you can decide how many days prior to check-in, all unused allotments on that date will be released and no longer blocked for this travel agency.
ATTENTION: If the Release Days are inside the allotment start date (for example 30 days), you will get the error message The release period cannot be the same or lesser than the allotment start date. In that case, you will need to update the allotment start date.
Click on "For the following period: Start date". There you can update and set the new start date so these 30 days are no longer inside. (in this case 23/07/2022).
When you are done updating the allotment with the new settings, click on the green button Request Change
